Hullo there! @@

:faint: WOW!!! the whole saturday with this. This is the last pic i had to do before my holidays end, so here it is ^^.

My little tribute to Promethean: The Created, the last WHITEWOLF's RPG. I've been reading the player's manual, it's quite interesting, but as it's been building in these days is quite incomplete, so i can wait a bit more.

The details about this game is one specie of Promethean, Galatea Muses =^^=. So I represented them based on the original Galatea's greek myth, which is the one they took for making this creatures, and the one why I chose the name for my beautiful Toreador vamp ;).

Hope you like it!~ ~

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only Promethean fan hereabouts. :)

I'm still married to the old World of Darkness, but I've made the leap to the second World of Darkness with Promethean. All those years of playing and Storytelling everything from Vampire to Demon (though Mummy only made cameo appearances in my pan-WoD campaign about five years back), and I couldn't help but think "You know, I'm surprised that this World of Darkness doesn't really have any Frankenstein monsters, aside from whatever the mages whip up." Lo and behold, we finally have our Frankensteins. And Galateids. And Osirans. And Tammuz. And Ulgans. And more effin' Pandorans than you could shake an electrode at....

So I'm a fan of the Frankensteins. I own three different printings of Mary Shelley's groundbreaking novel, I've read the book cover-to-cover several times and I just find Adam Frankenstein's story so compelling. A patchwork man given life by a man outside of God's providence, cast naive into this unforgiving world and forced into vengence and villainy through such circumstance. The James Whale movies give the Creature such shallow treatment as a tragic villain that it's despicable.

But one Lineage alone would not a World of Darkness title make, so Promethean gathers five myths and legends of life created or imbued by mankind's hand. It's a marvellous setting with so much pathos and roleplaying opportunity. Now, if I could just find a troupe in East Texas, I'd be in business.... :(
